SIL Open Font License 1.1 (Varela Round)

The map font Varela Round is used under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1. ParaNest turned it into map label files (glyphs) named HomeTwoRound, which don't use the Reserved Font Names, and serves them and the unchanged font from its own site. The font isn't sold on its own. The full license ships with the font at /map/fonts/OFL-VarelaRound.txt and is available at openfontlicense.org.

Mozilla Public License 2.0 (web-push)

web-push is used unmodified on our servers. Its source code and the full license are available at github.com/web-push-libs/web-push and mozilla.org/MPL/2.0.

Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (Twemoji graphics)

Emoji graphics by Twemoji (Twitter and other contributors), licensed under CC BY 4.0: creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0. No changes were made to the artwork apart from size.

Open Database License (map data)

Map tiles and data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License: openstreetmap.org/copyright.

ParaNest's own map is drawn from map files ParaNest makes from OpenStreetMap data (the Protomaps basemap build and a small layer of playgrounds and family spots). The map shown on screen is a Produced Work under the ODbL. The map files themselves are Derivative Databases of OpenStreetMap: the basemap file (basemap.pmtiles, built with the Protomaps basemap, credit Protomaps LLC) and ParaNest's family-spots layer (family.pmtiles). ParaNest offers both under the ODbL 1.0. The current file names are listed in paranest.app/map/manifest.json; anyone can download family.pmtiles from the address listed there, or ask for either file, or the steps to rebuild them (scripts/own-map in our source), from the Support page.

Other packages
