ParaNest

What ParaNest does

Built for two homes. Only features that work in the app today are listed here.

Messages that stay put

A parent can't delete the other parent's messages, and edits keep the original. An optional tone check helps keep things calm.

One shared calendar

Your parenting schedule, holidays and swaps in one place, with change requests the other parent accepts or declines. You can also subscribe to a private calendar feed (ICS) in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar. That feed is read-only; ParaNest does not offer two-way sync with those calendars.

Expenses and receipts

Log what you spent for the kids, attach receipts, and see who owes what. Paying the other parent through ParaNest is not available yet.

Records you can check

Export digitally signed PDFs with a verification code anyone can check on our Verify page. ParaNest does not decide custody or give legal advice.

Kid check-ins on ParaNest's map

Kids can check in. When a check-in includes a location, parents see Location shared and can tap Show on map to open that point on ParaNest's own map. Check-in cards do not show raw coordinates or Apple/Google Maps links.

Solo mode

One parent can use the app if the other will not join yet. What you record is labeled one-sided until they accept your invite, then it becomes the shared family record.

Safety tools

Protective order mode, quick exit, and hotlines. SOS alerts both parents and everyone in the chat where you send it, in the app. It does not contact 911.

English and Spanish

Each parent picks their own language. Guides are available in English and Spanish.

Free core, optional Plus

Messages, the calendar, records, basic exports and safety tools stay free. Plus adds optional extras (court packet, more PDF exports, themes, and more). One Plus subscription covers the whole family.
